Governor Terrell's Room
Features: ornate, hand-carved mahogany (queen-size) four poster bed, empire chest of drawers, marble top dresser and night stand, fireplace, double windows with plantation shutters, windows overlook sun porch, TV concealed in armoire, private bath, beautiful hardwood (pine) floor Governor Terrell's Room is the only bedroom downstairs (ground level).
Rhett Butler's Room
Features: antique walnut/mahogany bed, eastlake washstand that serves as nightstand, mahohany, victorian claw foot dressing table, tiffany lamp, silver service, and Rhett's hankerchief along with pictures of Rhett and Miss Scarlett throughout the room, Miss Scarlett's painting graces the mantle, room full of GWTW memorabelia, very popular room, masculine, but yet has Miss Scarlett's feminine touch, plantation shutters, private bath, TV.
Scarlet's Room
Features: Scarlet's Room overlooks the beautiful Southern magnolia tree in the front yard, and there is also a window overlooking the south yard of inn. Scarlet's picture adorns the mantle. Comfortable queen size bed, with hand carved, ornate headboard, TV concealed in armoire, private full bath, plantation shutters, fainting sofa, & marble top dresser with large oval mirror. The magnolia motif is dominant through out the guestroom.
Georgian Room
Features: decor for this room is roses, rich floral comforter/shams, lace curtains, eastlake marble top chest features oval shaving mirror, marble top dresser, marble top tables on each side of 1800's mahogany bed, antique clock on mantle over fireplace, antique 'rose' lamps on each side of bed, very spacious room, private bath, TV, bed situated in bay window.
Meriwether Room
This room is named after the county Greenville is located in. It is our most spacious room with huge private bath and built in cabinets, that are unique to a home of this time.
Features: Truly 'merry-weather' due to windows on 2 sides of room, fireplace, massive four poster king sized bed, crystal lamps, beveled mirror, antique dresser, chest of drawers, and rich floral arrangements.
All rooms have a private bath.
Rate includes refreshments served upon arrival and a full southern country breakfast feast served daily.
Georgian Inn is centrally heated and air conditioned.
